Roy is an upcoming 2014 Bollywood romantic action thriller film directed by debutante Vikramjit Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series. The film will feature Ranbir Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Arjun Rampal in lead roles, and is slated for a June 20, 2014 release 

This is a real life story of an individual. The film is a love triangle among Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez, where the main conflict occurs between Kapoor and Rampal, over Fernandez.
Actor Ranbir Kapoor was signed on for the title role. Despite initial reports of Kapoor only featuring in a cameo appearance in the film,
 it was confirmed by the makers that Kapoor plays one of the two male leads in the film. Kapoor has been reported to have charged INR15 crore (US$2.3 million) for the film. The female lead was initially offered to actress Deepika Padukone,

 who rejected the film. Jacqueline Fernandez was later cast as a replacement, who features in a double role. Arjun Rampal was next signed on for the role of a filmmaker as the second male lead, as he was best suited for the role. According to reports, there will be one more female lead in the film, who is yet to be cast
