 Besharam is an upcoming Bollywood comedy film directed by Abhinav Kashyap. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Pallavi Sharda[2] and is scheduled to release in 2 October 2013.Filming for Besharam was scheduled to commence on December 10, 2012, with part of it taking place on a film set in Film City, Mumbai.

The film's tagline has been stated as "Na sammaan ka moh, na apmaan ka bhay", translated as "No want for respect, no fear of disrespect"

Film composer Lalit Pandit has confirmed that he has been asked to work on the film's soundtrack and that it will consist of six tracks.[8] Pandit also stated that the music was completed in the film's pre-production stages as per the instructions of director Kashyap

In January 2013 actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, parents of actor Ranbir Kapoor, were confirmed as starring in Besharam in unspecified roles.

As on April 20,2013, Ranbir Kapoor (Actor), Abhinav Kashyap (Director) and many in the unit were shooting at Universal Trade Tower, Sector-49, Sohna Road, Gurgaon (Haryana) The trailer of the film will be launched by Ranbir Kapoor and Abhinav Kashyap at an orphanage in Mumbai on 2 August 2013.

The first trailer was released on 30 July 2013.The promos of  Raj Kumar Santoshi’s Phata Poster Nikla Hero shows Shahid Kapoor doing the Khaki-clad Dabangg act. But the more entertaining aspect to this wannabe Chulbul Pandey’s Dabangg is that the Phata Poster... role was originally written for Ranbir Kapoor.

Says a reliable source, “This is the script that Santoshi wanted to make right after Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani again featuring Ranbir and Katrina, for the same producers (Tips). But Ranbir had other plans. He wanted to do his own Dabangg-style massy entertainer with the Dabangg director.

That’s how Ranbir became a part of director Abhinav Kashyap’s Besharam where he plays a con-man on the run in Delhi-Haryana while his parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor play cops on Ranbir’s trail. In fact Ranbir tells all his friends that Besharam is his Dabangg.”

Rishi confirms, “It is our family’s out-and-out commercial entertainer. Very much in the Dabangg and Rowdy Rathod genre of entertainment.” A source close to Besharam predicts the film would be Ranbir’s biggest blockbuster to date. “We expect it to be bigger than Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. It’s Ranbir’s most massy film to date. Full-on time-pass.”

Actor Ranbir Kapoor has emerged as an endearing rowdy lover boy onscreen with his newly released track, Love ki ghanti, from his upcoming film Besharam.

His tapori act in the song is a huge hit among the audience. With this song, Ranbir once again explores his singing skills. He last sang Fatafati in Anurag Basu's film Barfi.

Love ki ghanti is a funny musical track in a conversation form, where Ranbir details his friends about the love of his life. In the track, Ranbir desperately tries to woo newbie Pallavi Sharda, who plays the romantic lead opposite him.Funny and energetic dance steps supported with strong expressions, Love ki ghanti looks like a winner. Though the film is set in the backdrop of Delhi, the song was shot in Filmcity, Mumbai. Some genuine sets depicting the bylanes of Delhi were erected in Filmcity, where these portions were shot.Director Abhinav Kashyap has been instrumental in suggesting a few moves as he wanted the song to highlight the naughty mood of the film and Ranbir's character.

Choreographed by Pappu Mallu, Ranbir has tried everything possible to look shameless in the film. This catchy track is composed by musician duo Lalit- Pandit.

 it will be interesting to see her romancing the handsome Kapoor in town on celluloid. The movie is titled "Besharam"
to be directed by Abhinav Kashyup. It has been learnt that Ranbir was already in the project but they were looking for an actress. Besharam
wanted a talented fresh face opposite Ranbir Kapoor and Earlier Parineeti Chopra was roped for the movie but Parineeti is replaced by Pallavi Sharda and Pallavi suited the role completely. Pallavi is the new addition to the venture, In this flick,
 Ranbir will be sporting a new avatar of a tapori. He has done so previously in a movie but that was for an item song for Chillar Party. Viacom 18 and Abhinav’s own banner will produce the movie that is scheduled to go on floors in October this year.
