Main Tera Hero is an upcoming romantic comedy film directed by David Dhawan and produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of her production house Balaji Motion Pictures. The film is slated to release on April 4, 2014.[1] It is a remake of the 2011 Telugu blockbuster Kandireega, starring Ram Pothineni, Hansika Motwani and Aksha Pardasany in the lead roles.[2]

Well David Dhawan choose his Varun Dhawan for this movie, Varun is already very famous among audience since his super hit movie SCOTY. We will find more about his acting skills in this movie. Basically,Main Tera Hero is the remake of 2011 super hit movie Kandireega which is a Telugu movie. Main Tera Hero is made under their own production banner Balaji Motion Pictures. Ileana D’Cruz and Nargis Fakhri are playing opposite to Varun Dhawan in this movie.

Main Tera Hero is a story of high school drop out boy (Varun Dhawan), when he was young he wants to marry a girls, but that girl rejected him because he have no qualification, later on that boy (Varun Dhawan) decided to go Hyderabad for higher education, when he was on his way on the train he saved a girl (Nargis Fakhri) from the time that girl will fall in love with him, later on when he reached his college he found a beautiful girl (Ileana D’Cruz) and falls in love with her. But a city gangster already loves that girl (Ileana D’Cruz) and he don’t want that any boy will follow his girl….. the whole story of the movie is very interesting
 there are lots of twist and the movie are full of fun.

Alpana Mishra, chief executive officer, Balaji Motion Pictures said in her interview that the movie is full of entertainment and it have a very commercial scripts which will be definitely a family entertainer movie.
Varun has been
doing quite a few stunts for the film. Here is a glimpse of the actor performing an aerial act for a song in the film as he balances himself on a harness.

Varun insisted on doing the stunt himself. He was hanging from the tenth floor of a building in Bangalore for a sequence which was choreographed by Bosco-Caesar.

Recently, Varun shot a song for the upcoming project, for which he had to perform a stunt. And unfortunately going with hazards of the acting profession, the actor had to suffer minor back injury.

Here we have a pic from the sets of the film where Varun is seen hanging from the tenth floor of a building in Bangalore; shooting for a song sequence. So it is while performing this aerial sequence Varun injured his back as he had to balance himself horizontally on the building. But our sources revealed that after taking a break for a few hours the 'Student Of The Year' handsome got back into action and completed the sequence within time.
Post his debut film 'Student Of The Year', Varun Dhawan has been busy with his father, filmmaker David Dhawan's film 'Main Tera Hero', who last gave us 'Chashme Baddoor'. The film, the shooting of which is currently going on full swing, is expected to hit the screens next year in April.

Giving a sneak-peek of the film, writer Milap Zaveri posted an image on micro-blogging site and wished the team - "Best of luck Davidji, Rohit and @Varun_dvn for the shoot of #MainTeraHero You'll are gonna rock!
