Bullett Raja is an upcoming Gangster-thriller Hindi film, written and directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and produced by Rahul Mittra, Nitin Tej Ahuja and Tigmanshu Dhulia, under the banner of BrandSmith Motion Pictures and Moving Pictures. The film is presented by Fox Star Studios. . The film will feature Saif Ali Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in leading roles, whilst Jimmy Shergill, Ravi Kishan, Chunky Pandey and Vidyut Jamwal will feature in pivotal roles. The film will be set against the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh-based mafia while dealing with the underworld.[1][2] The film will be released on 29th November 2013.[3]
Development
Director Tigmanshu Dhulia approached Saif Ali Khan after inspired from his act of Langda Tyagi in Omkara on his 42nd birthday.Khan accepted the offer after reading the script.The film's proposed name was Jai Ram Ji Ki but on the suggestion of Saif Ali Khan it was named Bullett Raja to gave it more gangster look.[4][5]Sonakshi Sinha expressed excitement about working with Saif Ali Khan and called it a fresh pairing and

will join the crew in February 2013.[6]All male character's have grown a moustache to fit for the role in the film.[7]Earlier,actor Irrfan Khan was revealed to be a part of the film but he walked out because of hectic schedule and date clashes for his other projects.[8]Later,he was replaced by martial artist[9] turned actor Vidyut Jamwal.[10]Jamwal decided to design his stunts himself and without any body double.[11]Later,Gulshan Grover was hired to play a negative role as a powerful goon in the film.[12]
Filming
On 6 November 2012,The shooting of the film began in Lucknow where producer pre-decide Kolkata and Mumbai are the others cities for filming later.[13][14]The first leg of shooting came to an end in Lucknow on December 10[15] while the second leg began at Kolkata at around last week of February,2013.[16]Both real and fake guns are used during shooting while Saif used real guns for realistic look.[17]The actors shot in

If rumours are to be believed, Saif Ali Khan’s next film’s release has just been postponed. Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Bullet Raja is now all set to hit the marquee on November 29 instead of September 6. Interestingly, Saif’s film will now clash with Shahid Kapoor’s Rambo Rajkumar, helmed by Prabhu D

A source says, “Thanks to the producers of Saif’s Bullet Raja, the release has been postponed by two months. Initially, Saif was keen that the film gets a solo release. However after his back-to-back successes with Cocktail and Race 2, Saif is not afraid of competition.”
n fact if they had stuck to the original schedule, Saif’s film would have clashed with Ungli and Zanjeer 2.0. While stating that Prabhu Deva is currently on a roll, a trade insider says, “It is unhealthy that two big films should clash with each other. While the recent track record of Tishu and Saif cannot be ruled out, one needs to also consider that Prabhu is at the top of his game currently. We wish that one of the two change their date to avoid eating into each other’s business.”
